“Telcion provides ongoing consulting services and 24/7 Tier 2 support for the IT helpdesk regarding voice-related issues. We are currently working on the design for the next major voice upgrade that will occur later in the year.”
Kaweah Delta Health Care District (KDH) is an eight-campus, 581-bed organization based in Visalia, California, devoted to serving central California residents. Areas of excellence include cardiac services, orthopedics, surgical services and obstetrics. A technology-aggressive hospital with over 3,000 employees, KDH relies on IT to help deliver needed business solutions to deliver their medical services to help people live healthier lives.
Telcion has partnered with KDH for several years. In 2009, KDH contracted with Telcion to provide project implementation services to help migrate their 3200 Cisco phone system to the 7.x version, and install a call center system for their patient billing departments. The cutover to the new version occurred with no noticeable downtime. From 2010 to 2012, as KDH was expanding, Telcion expanded the contact center with additional agents and queues for different departments within the hospital, along with more advanced call recording capability.
In 2012, Telcion was awarded the project to supply all hardware, software, and services to migrate their voice infrastructure to a virtualized hardware platform. This upgrade also occurred with no noticeable downtime for the organization.
Telcion has been involved in numerous other projects that are non-voice related such as firewall upgrades, wireless troubleshooting, core router and switch replacement, and assisting with the rollout of new access switches throughout the hospital and remote sites.
Today, Telcion provides ongoing consulting services and 24/7 Tier 2 support for the IT helpdesk regarding voice-related issues.
